Free Film Screening: FAM BAM | De Young

FAM BAM is a short documentary that provides a critical look into the structure of the black family in America. It delves into the many layers of how this structure  helped assuage the influences of slavery, Jim Crow laws, and the crack era. The story will be told through the use of video, archival footage, still photos, audio, text, animation, and sculptures.

Pick up a free ticket at the Koret Auditorium entrance (near the Membership desk) starting at 5:30 p.m. while they last.
