A self-made rising star on the SF music scene, singer-songwriter Megan Slankard has sold nearly 30,000 copies of four independently-released CDs She now headlines her biggest show to date, an all-acoustic affair, at the Swedish American Hall.
Megan’s newest CD, A Token Of The Wreckage, is “an edgy alt-rock release that is a breath of fresh air” (Maverick Magazine) and was recorded with help from David Bryson (Counting Crows) and Jerry Becker (Train). The album was also named one of the Top 10 Best-Selling Independent Albums by CD Baby.
