New SF City Guides Tour for 2010 | Family Stroller Walk in GG Park

Explore the twelve scenic areas of Golden Gate Park in this series of peaceful walks. Each walk departs from a new location, enabling walkers to discover fascinating history and natural features unique to each area. This walk is ideal for adults with children in strollers, seniors, and those with mobility impairment. Terrain is generally flat and tour lasts one hour. P

Heroines & Heroes
Meet at the Pioneer Women Monument, located off John F. Kennedy (JFK) Drive, east of the road to Stow Lake.
Starting at the Pioneer Women Monument, stroll through the Rose Garden and Heroes Grove, and then on to the Mothers’ Meadow and Playground. Return to the Pioneer Women Monument. Directions and map
