They would like to welcome you to FirstClass: Departure, a monthly series venture dedicated to all musical styles on 2nd Saturdays at the illustrious The Miranda Lounge Oakland, CA. They’ll be curating nights with specific genres, sounds, moods, artists, & more.

For the month of November, head towards Africa for a night of Afrobeats. The West African music styles have played a major role in social activism by combining songs of message and infectious rhythms. With an abundance of instrumentation, the style remains a go to for DJs & dancers worldwide.
Through its years, afrobeats branched out while influencing a list of artists, musicians, and sub-genres, even making the pop mainstream airwaves at the highest of levels. Lady Ryan will take on this 1 year anniversary voyage of First Class Departure with the sounds of Afrobeats.
