Event Details

Have you ever wondered, “How many piano tuners are there in the city of Chicago?” How would you figure it out? The physicist Enrico Fermi had a knack for quickly calculating things using back of the envelope calculations. It’s surprisingly fun to test your ability to quickly answer strange questions using general knowledge and quick conversions. At Stanford Complexity Group’s Fermi Estimation and Quantitative Trivia night, we’ll have some “Fermi estimation” questions as well as other fun trivia to test your ability to recall (or guess) fun numerical facts.
