Event Details

Dave Gomberg of SF Ferments will give a lecture and demonstration at the Richmond branch on making kombucha (a ferment of sweet tea) and kefir (a ferment of fresh milk, somewhat like a pourable yogurt). There are many similarities and differences between the two processes, so come and learn.

Bring your inquiring mind, and if you would like a starter, bring three clean and empty (3) half or one-pint plastic cartons (ie. cottage cheese/salad/yogurt containers).
