Farmers Markets have gone underground these days. This gathering of local professionals that don’t have the commercial kitchens required to qualify them for full-fledged farmers markets will give you a chance to taste their delicious wares that you can’t pick up anywhere else.
The third edition of the SF Underground Farmers Market (march 6, 2010) has moved to a much bigger venue in SOMA (three times the space) to hold twice as many vendors so the lines should be shorter. There will be live music, food workshops and, of course, get your fill of home grown veggies, wild mushroom spreads, soups, cupcakes, sour kraut and more.
