Join us in honoring Earth Day and National Volunteer Week through hands-on volunteer opportunities in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Learn how environmental conservation, park stewardship, recreation, and science work together to protect these iconic public lands. Volunteers can take part in habitat restoration, park maintenance, trail stewardship, and community science projects that support healthy ecosystems. Whether you’re new to volunteering or passionate about environmental stewardship, this Earth Day volunteer event in the Bay Area is a great way to connect with nature and make a meaningful impact.
