Event Details

Friends of the Urban Forest invites you on a free walking tour of the trees of the San Francisco Zoo, led by Steve Beach, Director of Operations for the zoo.

Admission is free, and participation is limited to the first 30 people who RSVP to michele@fuf.net. The tour is now full.

You’ll see as many as 100 species of trees — some native, some naturalized and some exotic. Some are grown as food for the animals, and some are toxic. Some are flourishing in the cool coastal climate, and some are struggling. Meet at the Entry Village, past the ticket window.
