Pillar Point Harbor | One Johnson Pier Half Moon Bay, CA
Fourth of July 2011 begins in Half Moon Bay with an old fashioned Fourth of July parade down Main Street at noon, and include various community groups, horses, vintage cars, dressed up dogs and more.
There will also be the annual Half Moon Bay town picnic with crafts and live music including the Mad Brothers Band and Blame It On the Dogs. Plus there’s the first Food Trucks on the Fourth, with… you guessed it…. a ton of local food trucks gathering in Harbor Village (both July 3 and 4) starting at 11am.
At sundown is the Fourth of July fireworks show at Surfers Beach at Pillar Point Harbor, Capistrano Road, Princeton-by-the-Sea. According to the Half Moon Bay Review, for 2011 the city will also shoot off double the amount of fireworks to make up for not having them in 2010.
For more information on the event, call the American Legion at (650) 400-7040.
