Antioch is bringing back the fireworks on July 4, 2013 in the town’s historic waterfront Rivertown District with a parade, car show and fireworks on the river at 9:30 pm. The parade is expected to draw over 5,000 spectators and, if the past years are anything to go by, the 2013 parade should feature over 40 floats, decorated vehicles, car clubs, tractors and even the American Legion Riders, a motorcycle club. The parade begins at 7 pm at 2nd and E Streets.

- 5 pm: Car show, kids’ zone, food and entertainment
- 7 pm: Fourth of July Parade (starts at 2nd and E Streets)
- 9:30 pm: Fireworks
Where to Watch the Fireworks: The fireworks will be shot from a barge in the river between Humphrey’s at the foot of L Street and G Street. Stand anywhere along the waterfront there will be good viewing.
