County Fair Building | 9th Avenue and Lincoln Way, San Francisco CA
Join the San Francisco Botanical Garden’s 46th Annual Plant Sale on May 4, 2013 and choose from over 4,000 different kinds of plants that thrive in the Bay Area’s frost-free fog belt – many plants not found at other regional plant sales or commercial nurseries.
You’ll find a large selection of rare cloud forest plants such as tree dahlias and senecios, drought resistant proteas, and mite resistant fuchsias. They’ll have 300-400 types of California natives at their seasonal peak, including 40 varieties native to San Francisco.
They are also stocking cactus and succulents, herbaceous perennials, vines, ferns, roses, rock garden plants, salvias, rhododendrons, and a unique variety of Asian and Mediterranean shrubs.
