Event Details

The EcoCenter is celebrating World Oceans Day with a shoreline cleanup around Heron’s Head Park on Saturday, June 3, 2017. Volunteers will get a chance to win 2 tickets to the Aquarium of the Bay.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

Volunteers will be picking up everyday items like straws, wrappers, cigarette butts, and other plastic trash from harming our ecosystem.

What to bring: this signed waiver, comfortable clothes, sturdy shoes, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle. Volunteers are also encouraged to bring their own gloves, and bucket if possible.
