This is an open call to whimsical and faun-like creatures and brunch aficionados to join in a Beltane-inspired procession and brunch Sunday May 2nd. We will be whimsical, magical creatures in true SF style, in all white (with accent colors). We’ll be like pied pipers and fauns.
We’ll carry ornately painted windows in the procession, the smaller ones as standards, and the larger ones will be piled with grapes, fruit, brunchables etc. We will offer the fruit to people on the street and entice them to join us. You can bring whatever you feel like carrying. Minstrels will play double flutes and stringed instruments.
Parade Route: We’ll walk from Million Fishes (23rd and Bryant) to Dolores Park, by a circuitous route, then set up in the park— the windows will assemble into a wall/folding screen and we’ll lounge in front of it.
