The San Francisco Film Society presents a free screening with director Philip Kaufman of the brand new HBO film “Hemingway & Gellhorn” at the Castro Theater a day before the film’s premiere on HBO.
The film, which chronicles the tumultuous marriage of Ernest Hemingway and trailblazing war correspondent Martha Gellhorn as it follows the adventurous writers through the Spanish Civil War, stars Nicole Kidman and Clive Owen.
