Join the America’s Cup Healthy Ocean Project Team & The Marine Mammal Center for a Beach Cleanup prior to America’s Cup.
This August the Marine Mammal Center is hosting an ACHOP beach cleanup at Horseshoe Cove, Fort Baker, Sausalito, as part of the America’s Cup Healthy Ocean Project’s (ACHOP) mission to take part in an environmental day each month.
Coffee and tea will be provided, but please bring your own cups. Afterwards, join the team and enjoy complimentary nibbles and drinks at the wonderful Cavallo Point.
All participants will get a copy of The Marine Mammal Center’s book: Call to the Rescue: The Story of the Marine Mammal Center.
Know Before You Go
RSVP is required. Wear layers and sturdy shoes (no sandals). Horsehoe cove is a rocky beach. If possible, please bring a bucket, gloves, and lots of energy. Some supplies will be provided.
Fort Baker is just by the north post of the Golden Gate Bridge. Map & Directions to Fort Baker. Please park in the Waterfront Cove Parking lot (the nearest parking lot to the water) and meet at 9:30am by the picnic tables for coffee, introductions and instructions.
