SF City Hall Lights up Rainbow for 2025 Pride

Every evening at sunset, over 220 state-of-the-art LED lighting fixtures illuminate City Hall’s exterior. Normally, a soft white glow shows off the play of light and shadow on the full façade and dome. Frequently, special plaza façade lighting schemes honor or celebrate events, seasons, and holidays.
City Hall will be lit up in rainbow colors many nights during June in honor of Pride.
City Hall Lighting Schedule / June 2025
City Hall will be lit in special lighting on the following days in June 2025:
- Tuesday, June 3, 2025 – rainbow colors – in recognition of SF PRIDE Month
- Friday, June 6, 2025 – rainbow colors – in recognition of the City Hall PRIDE Flag Raising
- Sunday, June 8, 2025 – pink – in recognition of the annual activation of San Francisco’s Pink Triangle on Twin Peaks
- Monday, June 23, 2025 – rainbow colors – in recognition of SF PRIDE Week
- Friday, June 27, 2025 – blue/pink/white – in recognition of the annual SF TRANS March
- Saturday, June 28, 2025 – pink – in recognition of Pink Saturday
- Sunday, June 29, 2025 – rainbow colors – in recognition of SF PRIDE Weekend
The schedule is always tentative for the holiday lights and subject to change when there are special events and the building is lit in honor of those.
