Event Details

Join the Golden Gate National Parks for a chance to see the endangered Coho Salmon and the Steelhead Trout at the Redwood Creek Watershed in Marin.

Meet at Frank Valley Horse Camp on Muir Woods Road located 1.5 miles West of Muir Woods National Monument. Help Marin State Parks follow-up on helichrysum control as well as pull French broom, cape ivy, and veldt grass under the dappled canopy of alder and willow trees to protect and restore habitat for these two endangered species.

This is part of an Endangered Species Big Year Conservation action item and you’ll search for and help save:

  • Coho Salmon, Central California Coast ESU
  • Steelhead, Central California Coast DPS
