SF Opens Four “Air Respite” Centers To Escape Toxic Air
With the “Very Unhealthy” air quality on Friday, San Francisco has opened up four “air respite centers” today from 10am to 5:30pm. Locations are at the Main Library along with the Chinatown and Mission Bay branch libraries plus the Southeast Community Center in Bayview
- Main Library – 100 Larkin Street at Grove
- Chinatown Branch Library – 1135 Powell Street at Jackson
- Mission Bay Branch Library – 960 4th Street at Mission Creek Channel
- Southeast Community Facility – 1800 Oakdale Ave. at Phelps (Bayview)
Muni is also free today in case you need a way to get to these three locations

When air quality is poor stay inside to reduce exposure. For those who cannot shelter inside, SF has activated Weather Relief Centers open today (9/11) from 10AM-5:30PM
