Circadian String Quartet Virtual Concert

Debussy’s Préludes for piano are so coloristic that they suggest many sounds and images that transcend the instrument. Woodwinds, voice, strings, nature, and mythical beings–these short pieces allow the mind to conjure images and to dream. Join Circadian as they transform them into string quartet music and explore their endless suggestive possibilities. You will hear Ondine, Des pas sur la neige, and La danse de Puck. Debussy’s revolutionary string quartet will follow. This work brought the string quartet into the sensibilities of the twentieth century and uses color to plumb the subtle depths of human thought and emotion.
