About this Event
The Chinese Culture Center (CCC) and San Francisco Pride proudly present Chinatown Pride, an evening of queer art and Chinese culture that features art, drag performances, cocktail demonstrations, and more!
Chinatown Pride builds upon CCC’s exhibition, WOMEN我們: From Her to Here, currently on view at their gallery in San Francisco Chinatown and online. The multimedia exhibition centers Asian diasporic perspectives, with work by artists of diverse gender and sexual identities from the Bay Area, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and elsewhere. This unique intersection of Chinatown Pride showcases and celebrates the longstanding LGBTQ+ culture of Chinatown —— with many segments led by women in honor of Women’s History Month —— featuring untold stories, local businesses, and historic queer landmarks.
