An outdoor cinema is popping up at Dirty Habit, the fifth-floor hideaway in SoMa with a spacious heated outdoor patio.

Embrace the uniquely San Francisco ‘Second Summer’ again this September and October with an outdoor movie series, Second Summer Outdoor Movie Series at Dirty Habit, Silenced by Sound Off.

Hotel Zelos and Dirty Habit invite San Francisco locals and visitors to enjoy beloved cult classic films at the stylish outdoor patio, which will be transformed into an outdoor movie theater on select Sunday evenings. Comfortable seating and a large-scale projector screen will be provided as the series takes on a ‘silent cinema’ format, including Sound Off wireless headphones. Additionally, while you’re watching, you are able to order drinks and food from our special menu, direct to your seat via your phone.

The ‘Second Summer’ Outdoor Movie Series at Dirty Habit kicked off on Sunday, September 12 with Clueless. The next screening will be Field of Dreams on September 19, To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything on October 10, and Sister Act on October 17.

New this year, a portion of your ticket price will go to non-profit partners making an impact in San Francisco and across the US. See below for charities we are supporting this year.

  • Clueless: SF Education Fund (promoting educational equity amongst San Francisco public school students)
  • Field of Dreams: Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame (helping Bay Area Youth Sports programs)
  • To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything: The Trevor Project (In recognition of National Coming Out Day, Oct 11th)
  • Sister Act: Glide (creating pathways out of poverty and crisis and transforming lives)

Doors open at 7 PM and showtime is at approximately 7:45 PM, just after sunset. Specialty cocktails and menu concessions will be available, including select items in theme with each movie.  Tickets are $17 plus fees.

**Due to San Francisco regulations, all guests must show proof of vaccination and valid ID for admission.
