The California Soul-Food Cookout and Festival is an exclusive two-day event that has it all. We’ve put together an incredible lineup for our 2022 California Soul-Food Cookout and Festival in Pleasanton, Ca. With over 12,000 expected attendees, thirty-five food truck vendors, let us not forget our small business vendors, eleven confirmed artists performing, and all at one great location!

We have had considerable success hosting the California Soul-Food Cookout and Festival over the last 11-years. Over the past two years, festival organizers have faced many new challenges in organizing a safe and entertaining event space. The California Soul-Food Cookout and Festival organizers have taken every precaution in putting together a safe and inclusive outdoor event that will provide memories for years to come. We invite you to join us for an exciting, relaxing, memorable outdoor festival.

Our festival guests have ranged from 10,000 to 20,000 attendees. Our two-day festival will feature our R & B lineup on Saturday, September 17, 2022, and our “Gospel Extravaganza Explosion” on Sunday, September 18, 2022.

California Soul-Food Cookout and Festival will also feature some of the top food vendors from around the states, providing attendees with various delicious culinary options. Come on out and enjoy two full days of fun, food, and laughter, with some of the hottest R&B artists and Gospel greats in the entertainment industry.

The aroma of good old fashion, traditional family-style cooking is the way to bring families and friends together while kicking your feet up and relaxing the entire two days. The California Soul-Food Cookout and Festival will also provide complimentary tickets to various community organizations to provide a quality entertainment outlet for those less fortunate. A portion of the proceeds raised will also provide much-needed resources throughout the Bay Area, focusing on battered women and the homeless.

We are proud to announce that we are holding a Job Fair once again and Career Expo at the Alameda County Fairground during our California Soul-Food Cookout and Festival on both days. We anticipate attracting over 6,000 participants per day during our 2022 California Soul-Food Cookout and Festival.
