Root Division’s 20-Year Anniversary Exhibition + Celebration (SF)

​​Join us as Root Division commemorates 20 years of cultivating community-minded artists and arts-minded community. To mark this historic milestone, the organization will present a variety of inclusive festivities, artist-made gifts, and more; beginning with a Kick Off Event and Alumni Exhibition on Saturday, April 9!

In the past 20 years, Root Division has surfaced as one of the primary venues in San Francisco that supports emerging visual artists. Existing as a dynamic hybrid of the alternative space, commercial gallery, art center, and studio facility, Root Division is contributing to making life as an artist in the Bay Area a sustainable practice while cultivating artists who give back to the community.

The “20-Year Anniversary Alumni Exhibition” features 20 alums from Root Division’s Studios Program. The exhibition includes an impressive selection of high caliber work in a variety of media including painting, photography, sculpture, installation, and more.
