SF’s “Nick’s Crispy Tacos” Closes After 20 Years

Thanks to Eater SF for sharing the unfortunate news that Nick’s Crispy Tacos, located at 1500 Broadway at Polk, a mainstay in San Francisco’s Polk Gulch for over 20 years is closing.
The popular restaurant, famous for its $2 Taco Tuesdays and oversized tacos made “Nick’s Way,” will close its doors on December 28, 2022. Sadly, the restaurant stated on Facebook that negotiations to renew their lease were unsuccessful, but thankfully, the owners intend to find a new home for the restaurant.
But Nick’s final Taco Tuesday in its current location is December 27, 2022 (5p to midnight) with $2 tacos, $2 coronas and $20 pitchers of margaritas. Don’t miss it!
