Bay Area Community College Ranked #1 in America

Thanks to KRON4 for sharing the good news that Foothill College in Los Altos Hills was just named the best community college in America.

Niche compiled its 2023 Best Community Colleges in America of the top 100 community colleges in the nation by analyzing academic, financial, and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education, plus it considered reviews from students and alumni. The community college ranking looked at 906 schools including public junior colleges, public technical schools, and all other public, two-year colleges.

Foothill College, located at 12345 El Monte Rd, has 4,016 undergraduate students and has earned an A- grade on Niche.

Several other Bay Area schools topped the list as well. Las Positas College in Livermore took the #6 spot, City College of San Francisco came in at #21, and College of San Mateo ranked #29.
