2024 Movies in McCoppin – Family Fun Under the Stars – Free Movies Every Friday!

Join POPS this October for the annual Movies in McCoppin event—a month of free, family-friendly fun under the stars! Every Friday night, McCoppin Square Playground will transform into an outdoor movie theater where you can enjoy popular films with your loved ones. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors for an unforgettable evening filled with laughter, entertainment, and community spirit.

Event Details:

  • Where: McCoppin Square Playground (Taraval St. & 23rd Ave.)
  • When: Every Friday in October. Festivities start at 6 PM, and movies begin at sundown.
  • What’s Included: Free popcorn, delicious food, and exciting family activities before the movie!

2024 Movie Line-Up:

  • October 4 – “Wonka”: Get ready for a magical journey into Willy Wonka’s whimsical world.
  • October 11 – “Turning Red”: A heartwarming animated film about friendship, family, and growing up.
  • October 18 – “The Little Mermaid”: Dive into the enchanting underwater tale of Ariel and her quest for adventure.
  • October 25 – “Barbie”: Close out the month with the highly anticipated blockbuster that reimagines Barbie’s world with a twist!
