🏃‍♂️ Firecracker 5K & Kids 100-Yard Dash

📅 Date: July 4, 2025
🕒 Time: 7:45 AM – 9:30 AM
📍 Location: Downtown Pleasant Hill

We invite you to participate in our Firecracker 5K Race or the Kids 100-yard dash! Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers. Proceeds support Pleasant Hill community services.

🕒 Time: 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM
📍 Location: Pleasant Hill Park

After the parade, head over to Pleasant Hill Park for live music, delicious food, and family-friendly fun!

Party in the Park Schedule

Welcome to Pleasant Hill 4th of July Party in the Park extravaganza!  After the Downtown Parade ends, head over to Pleasant Hill Park and enjoy delicious good food venders, games, rides, live music, watermelon eating contest, and MORE!

10:30am – Party in the Park Begins!

Party in the Park Begins! Which includes music by Inner-State 80’s, BBQ from Back 40 Texas BBQ, Kettle Corn, Shaves Ice, kids games, and inflatables.

12:00noon – National Anthem

Boy Scout Troop 282 will provide the Flag Detail and Pleasant Hill resident, Alejandra Quezada Sermeno, will sing the National Anthem.

12:15pm – Watermelon Eating Contest

1:30pm – Party in the Park Ends

🎇 Fireworks Viewing Party

📅 Date: July 4, 2025
🕒 Time: 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM
📍 Location: College Park High School

Cap off your Independence Day with an exciting fireworks show! Enjoy music, food, and dessert trucks on-site.
Suggested donation: $4 per person.

TIMES

6:30pm – Music, food, & Fun! Burgers, Hot Dogs, and Drinks provided by Magoo’s of Pleasant Hill.

We will also have a taco truck, shaved ice, kettle corn vendors available

8:45pm – Our fireworks show begins. Grab a blanket and your loved ones and enjoy the show!

STREET CLOSURES

Viking Drive will be closed to traffic between Norse Drive and Ruth Drive prior to and after the fireworks display

PARKING SUGGESTIONS:

North Parking Lot along Golf Club Rd at DVC, Parking lot at Valley View Middle School, PH Community Center Parking Lot.

DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED – You may NOT bring your dog to the fireworks viewing party at CPHS.

VIEW PARTY ENTRANCES

There are two places to enter CPHS Viewing Party:

•  Viking Drive entrance gate by the baseball field.
• Back entrance from the Pleasant Hill Community Center by the Tennis Courts
