SF’s Huge Treasure Island Festival Not Happening 2025
Unfortunately, TreasureFest, the popular monthly market held on Treasure Island, has announced it won’t be returning in 2025.
TreasureFest took to Instagram to announce the disappointing news:
“Happy New Year! We hope you’ve had a wonderful start to 2025.
We’re reaching out with some important news about TreasureFest. After much thought, we’ve made the difficult decision to take a break in 2025. We were informed by the administration on Treasure Island that TreasureFest won’t be invited back for the upcoming year. As you can imagine, this news was deeply disappointing for us, especially after the time, energy, and dedication we’ve poured into reviving the event.
Our last two shows in 2024 were truly special, and we were so grateful to see the event come back to life with incredible vendors, an engaged community, and the exciting experiences that made TreasureFest a beloved tradition. To know we won’t be able to build on that momentum in 2025 is something we didn’t expect, and it’s certainly bittersweet.
While we absolutely loved bringing TreasureFest back to Treasure Island and were fully committed to making it even better in 2025, we’ve realized that the challenge of relocating and starting from scratch at a new venue isn’t something we can take on at this time.
We are so grateful for your support as a shopper and attendee. Your enthusiasm and love for TreasureFest made each event a joy, and we truly appreciate you being part of the community that helped make TreasureFest such a success. We will miss seeing you and all the wonderful people who made these events so special.
Though we’re taking a break in 2025, we wish you the best in the year ahead and hope to cross paths again in the future. Thank you again for being a part of the TreasureFest family.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Ansanelli Family
TreasureFest”
TreasureFest hosted 300+ vintage & antique curators, crafts & makers, independent designers & artists and featured 35+ top-rated food trucks and eateries, and a variety of local libations. In addition to shopping, you could listen to live music, and participate in other games & entertainment. TreasureFest (originally known as the “Treasure Island Flea”) started in 2011 and was renamed TreasureFest in 2016. In 2020 the festival planned a move to Marin that was cut short by COVID, and instead returned to Treasure Island in 2024.
We hope TreasureFest will make a grand return in 2026!
