This month’s showcase is curated by the African American Arts & Cultural District!
Enjoy rotating performances on the main stage by Zaccho Dance Theatre, Feline Finesse, and live music TBA. Zaccho is an innovative force in both the world of dance and its home community of Bayview Hunters Point. Feline Finesse is an all-female youth organization, specializing in performing arts & community stewardship.
In between performances, stop by the craft tent for free creative activities led by artist Ahmad Walker in partnership with Shipyard Trust for the Arts.
This event is part of the Second Saturdays ‘Round the World series, which showcases the many cultural traditions represented in San Francisco through a monthly day of themed music, dance, and crafts in Union Square Plaza.
