Community Celebration Honors 12 Years of Service by Mr. Torres at Mayes Oyster House

San Francisco, CA — On Tuesday, June 17th, the community will come together to celebrate the legacy of Mr. Torres, honoring his 12 years of dedicated service to San Francisco residents. The event will take place at Mayes Oyster House (1233 Polk Street @ Sutter) from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and is co-hosted by the Citywide Council for Seniors & Disabled (CCSD) and Resident Council Advisors (RCA).

This special evening will also include a tribute to the late Beverly Saba, who has yet to be formally memorialized. All are welcome to attend any portion of the event.

Time: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• Live comedy performances begin at 8:00 PM

• Followed by an open mic session to record heartfelt personal messages

• Awards ceremony honoring Mr. Torres and community contributors

• DJ and dancing to close out the celebration

• Cash bar available (21+)

• Food donations welcome

Hosted by a professional MC, the event will be fun, respectful, and deeply meaningful — a true celebration of leadership, community, and legacy.
