About our closing exhibition:
111 Minna Gallery will be showcasing ‘SKATE’ in both our 2nd Street and Zappa Galleries.

Irene Emma Hernandez-Feiks is beyond honored and thrilled to curate SKATE, an electrifying exhibition at 111 Minna Gallery, which opened on April 11, 2025. This groundbreaking show is a love letter to skate culture, the Bay Area, and the incredible community that 111 Minna has fostered for decades. With nearly 300 artists and over 400 skate decks, this exhibit is set to be nothing short of mind-blowing.

An Unparalleled Roster of Artists The exhibition features an incredible lineup, primarily composed of Bay Area artists, alongside select LA-based artists who launched their careers in San Francisco and maintain deep ties to the city. Additionally, Irene has curated works from international artists who have either lived in the Bay or share a profound connection to its creative scene. These artists, ranging from established legends to rising stars, bring their own unique voices and styles, making SKATE a dynamic and thrilling experience.
