About Sunset Dunes
San Francisco’s Newest Coastal Park

Sunset Dunes’ two-mile promenade is an expansive, accessible space welcome to all and is located along the Great Highway from Lincoln Way (the SW corner of Golden Gate Park) to Sloat Blvd.

Walk, bike, roll, have a seat, join one of our free events or interact with awe-inspiring public art. There’s something for everybody.

What’s next? This is just Phase One. They’ve just opened a brand new skate park at Sloat and planning more with a community-led process to determine the park’s future.
