San Jose Legacy Business Happy Hour “Henry’s Hi-Life” (Free Parking)

Join the Preservation Action Council of San José (PAC*SJ) on Thursday, September 11 from 4:30pm – 7:00pm for our next Legacy Business Happy Hour at Henry’s Hi-Life (find us on the patio!). Originally established in 1960 at a nearby location, the restaurant later moved into a building that had once served as a boarding house for newly immigrated Italian workers. For more than six decades, Henry’s Hi-Life has built a loyal following with its succulent steaks, delicious ribs, and hearty comfort food. Today it remains a beloved institution, carrying forward both the flavors and traditions that have made it a local favorite for generations.

Legacy Business Happy Hours are a chance for PAC*SJ members and prospective members to connect with fellow preservationists, history enthusiasts, and community members in unique, historic settings, all while supporting a legacy business. Share ideas, build new relationships, and learn how PAC*SJ is working to protect the places that matter most. There are several parking garages within walking distance that offer 90 minutes of free parking. Metered street parking is also available and free after 6:00pm.
