Me & My House is a project of SF singer-songwriter Darren Midkiff. Darren draws inspiration from history, religion, literature, and politics in his signature style, bearing the influence of folk-punk and indie rock acts like Pat The Bunny and The Mountain Goats.

Simon Cushman, whose  introductions to his songs tend to be… oblique, moved to San Francisco from Santa Cruz in the summer of 2024, having just rediscovered his love of songwriting. He immediately began busking in Golden Gate Park, and playing open mics around the city. A number of original songs grew out of this initial period, drawing on various styles including alternative rock, folk, and funk (and punk!).
