Youth Grown Pumpkin Patch + Feed Goats (Santa Clara)

Join us on Sunday to get your freshly harvested pumpkin ready for carving, painting or eating. The Homesteaders kids will also have honey and eggs for sale. You can even order your locally grown Thanksgiving turkey for delivery on Sunday!

Homesteaders ranch is a little urban agricultural oasis in the heart of Silicon Valley where kids learn by doing how to raise their own produce, crops and market animals. There is so much to see on a visit to the ranch and each youth is eager to show their projects off.

Come visit and see what the kids have accomplished this year. You will be inspired and impressed. They have learned so much about crops, compost, irrigation, pest control, weather, seed selection, soil quaility and so much more! They would love to share their knowledge with your families.

Learn about the largest youth organization in the country, 4-H and find out how to join for your own kids aged 5-19.

Take a tour of our ranch and see all of the animals.

Pet a rabbit or two and watch the chickens scratch for bugs.

Oggle our very productive compost system.

Feed a goat and learn a little showmanship.

Admire our gardens and learn about the vineyard that the kids planted.

Check out our very own honey harvested by the youth and learn about the bees we keep.

Get truly farm fresh eggs from our quail, chickens and ducks.

Order a free ranging, naturally fed turkey for your Thanksgiving table.
