Be inspired to rise above by a free film screening of the award-winning documentary First Generation on Wednesday, January 30, 2013.

Narrated by Golden Globe nominee Blair Underwood, the movie tells the true story of four high school students who set out to break the cycle of poverty by pursuing a college education.

The doors open at 6:30 pm and the screening is at 7 pm, followed by a Q&A panel discussion with students and educational leaders.

Free with RSVP or $15 at the door. Reserve up to four free tickets.
