Kick off Black History Month right and remember the story of the “Buffalo Soldiers” on Friday, February 1, 2013.

Join Ranger Alejandra Iraheta for a leisurely one-mile stroll from the San Francisco National Cemetery to the Lombard Gate.

Explore the story of the African American “Buffalo Soldiers,” including their challenges and triumphs during a time of overt racism and prejudice.

Meet at the National Cemetery entrance gate at the corner of Lincoln Blvd. and Sheridan Ave.
