Valentine’s Day…flowers, chocolates, and bank-breaking gifts have become our modern day “holiday of love,” but kindness, connection, compassion, and laughter are the real gifts. It’s time to bring back the love and have a damn good time doing it… enter Operation Street Love.
2018 Operation Street Love
Friday, February 9, 2018 | 5:30 pm
Meet at the Ferry Building
FREEThis is your mission, should you choose to accept it: make people feel good. Share the joy, give a hug, make someone laugh, smile, dance, and feel good.
Costumes are not only highly encouraged, but will garner you respect, admiration, and countless bonus points in the feel-good-love-spreading mojo that Operation Street Love are infusing the streets of San Francisco with. Expect to see people dressed as giant foam candy hearts, Cupids, angels or dressed in red.
The Parade of Love Revelry will meet at 5:30 pm in the front of the Ferry Building. At 6:30pm, the Love Parade goes mobile and will head through the Financial District. Please be there by 6:30 pm to be sure you’re with the group before they take their hug-fest to the streets. The location will be updated along the way.
They will have their own mobile disco and will be dancing, walking, running and hugging, so plan your shoes accordingly.
