Total Trash Fest 2010 Pre-Party | Union Square

This weekend SF’s Total Trash Fest celebrates lo-fidelity retro band that favor low-brow fun over the sort of social commentary you’d find in, say, punk rock. There will be about a dozen bands over 4 days playing at Thee Parkside for $8-$10 each night.

This here event is the FREE pre-party Art of the Total Trash. It features visual representations of the “total trash underground,” including works by fest performers Shannon Shaw, Seth Bogart, Charlie Moonheart, and others, plus contributions by John Waters (yes, that John Waters), John Dwyer, Ty Segall. Most of the artists (except Waters who’s a busy guy) will be there that evening. Did we mention there’s FREE DRINKS?
