Exploratorium After Dark | SF
Experience life After Dark, an evening series occurring the first Thursday of every month at the Exploratorium exclusively for adults that mixes cocktails, conversation, and playful, innovative science and art events.
Spend an evening mingling with inventive scientists, artists, musicians, programmers, and designers. Enjoy live performances, provocative films, interesting music, cutting-edge technology, unexpected extravaganzas and more, plus play with with hundreds of hands-on exhibits without children hogging all the fun.
Find your rhythm at After Dark: Freestyle where you will create your own cocktails with SeaGlass mixologists, immerse yourself in improvisational traditions, and riff off a range of experiments and activities. Meet with music ethnologist, musician, instrument maker, and educator Michael Bradke for a hands-on, full-body exploration of musical cultures from every continent, plus join in a free-wheeling conversation about music, science, philosophy, and culture.
