Mos Eisly Cantina: Star Wars Costume Party | Mission

The fun folks at SF Indie are putting on a Star Wars Themed Costume Party set, no less, in the Mos Eisly Cantina from Episode IV: A New Hope!

This is an all-night thing, going until 2am with many SW-themed activities. Hug a Wookie! Make a deal with Han Solo! Party with aliens! Drinks and music from a galaxy far, far away…

• The band that plays in the Mos Eisly Cantina will be there! They’re called Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes in case you didn’t know. Really adds some authenticity to the whole thing to have that band at this event, doesn’t it?
• Cocktails from distant Planet Tatooine, however weird or strange they may be!
• Games such as a Sarlac Pit for lightsaber fights!
• Star Wars parodies in the screening room which seat about 60.

GET DRESSED UP: It’s free if you come in costume ($5 if you don’t) and there’ll be cash prizes & drink tickets for best costumes. They warn: no blasters, no droids unless accompanied by owner. We’re gonna look for creativity. Not just store bought storm trooper outfits.
