Start the annual California Coastal Cleanup Day with sunrise yoga at Ocean Beach, and a free breakfast provided by Whole Foods Market on September 21, 2013.
Free, but an RSVP is required.
Every year, on the third Saturday in September, people join together at sites all over California to take part in the State’s largest volunteer event, California Coastal Cleanup Day. Pitch in and lend a hand throughout the Golden Gate National Parks and beyond.
- 8 am: Free Sunrise Yoga at Ocean Beach & Fulton. Bring a mat and layers of clothing.
- 9 am to noon: Cleanups locations all over the Bay Area
Please keep in mind, more help is needed at sites on the Bay side which have a lot more trash including Candlestick Park, Heron’s Head Park, Islais Creek, and India Basin Park.
