Come to a hands-on workshop to learn about Scraper Bikes while customizing your bike and showing off your creativity. The workshop will culminate with a group bike ride along the Embarcadero.
Free, but an RSVP is required.
The Scraper Bike Team seeks to capture the creativity of youth living within dangerous communities. It gives them a positive outlet that is fun, educational, and promotes healthy lifestyles. The Scraper Bike Team offers youth a sustainable group of peers that is positive and motivating.
Registration is open to all ages. Bring your bike, or just come and learn how its done.
This event is part of The Califas Festival on October 2-November 17, 2013, a six week-long immersive, story-filled play yard of music, visual art, performance, and more in and around Intersection’s headquarters at 5M (5th and Mission) in San Francisco.
