Katie Herzig | Amoeba Music: Free In-Store Mini Concerts

After the critical and commercial success of her 2011 album The Waking Sleep and its subsequent packed-out tours, Katie Herzig releases her new album Walk Through Walls on April 8th.

A celebratory, love-struck album of sublime dream pop, Walk Through Walls was born at a time of profound sadness. In 2011, on the day Herzig was scheduled to launch The Waking Sleep tour, her mother Cheryl passed away after several years battling cancer. Herzig has spent years playing festivals such as Bonnaroo and Summerfest and touring as a headliner and as support for Brandi Carlile, Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, The Fray, and as a member of 10 out of Tenn.
