The 175th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade hosted by the United Irish Societies is one of the city’s most popular parades & events. Join us on Saturday, March 14, 2026, for fun and celebration.
175th Annual San Francisco St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Saturday, March 14, 2026
11:30 am: Parade Kickoff
11 am – 5 pm: Unite SF Festival
Parade: 2nd and Market to Civic Center Plaza via McAllister St., San Francisco
Festival: Polk/Grove Street near San Francisco City Hall
FREEThe Parade begins at the corner of 2nd & Market Street, marches down Market Street, and will make its way to Civic Center Plaza.

Celebrate 175 years of Irish heritage at one of San Francisco’s longest-running St. Patrick’s Day parades.

Parade Route: 2nd & Market Streets → San Francisco City Hall
Parade Kickoff: 11:30 AM
2026 Parade Highlights:
- Grand Marshals: Pat and Buffy Maguire (Java Beach Café & Lady Falcon Coffee)
- Colorful floats, marching bands, Irish dancers, pipe bands, and cultural groups
- A citywide celebration of Irish music, culture, and community spirit
After the Parade – UniteSF Festival:
Where: Polk/Grove Street near City Hall
When: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Family-friendly fun with Irish music sessions, rock classics, and dance performances
- Food, vendors, and cultural activities for all ages
New for 2026 – Youth Sports Day:
Where: Civic Center Plaza
When: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Kids (ages 6–15) can try Gaelic football, hurling, camogie, rugby, soccer, and more
- A fun, active way to experience Irish and global sports with the whole family
