FREEThe MAC will spotlight Berkeley Humane cats and kittens available for adoption, and attendees will be able to enter a Grumpy Cat raffle, enjoy refreshments, and a lucky few will get to have their photo taken with Grumpy Cat (RSVPs are sold out). Grumpy Cat books will be available for purchase with 100% of proceeds benefiting Berkeley Humane.
The Mobile Adoption Center is a state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled, 26′ RV with modular and detachable kennels custom built for Berkeley Humane to comfortably house the tiniest kittens to the brawniest mutts. Roll-up windows allow animal lovers to view adorable pooches and felines from the exterior, and doors at each end of the RV allow potential adopters to walk through, take a detailed look, and engage with a potential pet. The MAC provides limitless opportunities and allows Berkeley Humane to extend their life-saving mission and bring their homeless dogs and cats into East Bay communities where loving caregivers can be found, and perfect matches can be made.
