Big free annual music festival in Berkeley’s People’s Park

The Bay Area hip-hop community comes together the first Saturday in May each year to enjoy live music, graffiti art, dancing, and DJing at the annual Hip Hop in the Park, a hip-hop festivalrun by the Students For Hip Hop at Cal in People’s Park.

  • Headliner: Fashawn, a rapper from Fresno who recently got signed to Nas’ label “Mass Appeal Records” and has an album out called “Boy Meets World”.
  • Young Gully, an up-and-coming rapper from Oakland
  • Magna Carda
  • Breathless
  • BPos
  • Kensho Kuma
  • Romski

There will be food trucks, a b-boy/girl cypher, merch tables, and a kids’ tent.
