Enjoy an engaging conversation about the Presidio from two people with distinct perspectives.
Michael Boland is chief park officer at the Presidio Trust. For the last two decades, he has been closely involved in transforming the Presidio from a military post into a national park and brings interesting insights into this little understood public gem. Lynn Sondag is a San Francisco-based watercolor artist and professor of art at Dominican University. For more than a decade, she has captured the Presidio through her beautiful works, which are now on display at a special exhibit about the Presidio at the SF Main Library.
Together, this duo will provide first time visitors with inspiration to explore – and frequent visitors with new insights into – the rich and layered dimensions of the Presidio.
No registration is required.
This event is part of the free Presidio exhibition now on display at the San Francisco Main Library through September 24, 2015.
