Matcha is the Asian Art Museum’s version of Friday Nights at the DeYoung: a lively art-filled party with DJ-spun music, cocktails, a panel discussion about art in China today, docent tours of the “Bali” exhibit and even an art-making workshop.
The focus of the April 21st Matcha is “Pure Views,” a special exhibit by contemporary Chinese painters who reflect on their heritage but also acknowledge the ever-changing modern cultural landscape.
